AIA NZ has announced Nick Brunner as the new national sales manager for ASB, starting on May 14.
Sharron Botica, chief partnership distribution officer at AIA NZ, welcomed Brunner’s appointment to the position, which is designed to strengthen the firm’s ongoing partnership with ASB.
“We are incredibly proud to promote Nick into national sales manager, ASB. We have a long-term distribution partnership with ASB, and this role plays an important part in supporting the ASB team,” she said. “Nick’s experience within the insurance industry and proven track record of achieving excellent outcomes for AIA NZ’s distribution partners makes him a fantastic fit.”
With over a decade at AIA NZ, Brunner (pictured) moves into this leadership role after more than four years as strategic accounts business development manager.
His previous positions include roles in arrears management and as relationship manager in the new business team, where he played a key role in business development and partner relations.
Brunner, a graduate with an International Business Degree from Massey University, shared his aspirations for his new position.
“I’m passionate about building and growing authentic relationships within AIA NZ and with our partners. As a key distribution partner, I look forward to working with and driving growth with ASB to deliver great outcomes for customers,” he said.
Brunner’s promotion follows the appointment of a new chief product and strategy officer, who will oversee product, pricing, investments, and strategy at AIA NZ.
