The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) has announced 13 city centre roadshow sessions, aiming to connect with the primary healthcare sector across New Zealand.
The GP Connect roadshows offer front line general practice teams a chance to engage on collaborative discussions on topics including how to build a partnership with ACC. Through this, ACC looks to increase client access to care, ensure quality and consistency of care and improve client outcomes.
“We currently help to fund most GP, nurse and nurse practitioner services on a fee-per-visit basis,” ACC said in a statement. “Together with our partners – NZMA, RMZCG and GPNZ - we’re seeking better ways to do business and improve overall client outcomes.”
The roadshows will start on February 11 and will visit city centres including: Dunedin, Invercargill, Christchurch, Nelson, Hastings, Auckland, Whangarei, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Tauranga and Wellington.
