AA Insurance revealed some of its highlights in the past year to coincide with parent company Suncorp’s own financial results for Q2 2023.
In a LinkedIn post, the insurer said that it is proud of its contribution to Suncorp’s successes in the quarter ending June 30, as well as its own achievements for customers, people, and communities in the past year. Some of these achievements include:
The insurer was also named Canstar’s home and contents insurer of the year, in addition to bagging a separate outstanding value award. AA Insurance also ranked 7th on Kantar’s Corporate Reputation index, making it one of two insurers to have placed on the list.
As of June 30, AA Insurance also touted that it has sorted 74% of its claims relating to the severe weather events that happened earlier this year. In the past year, the insurer also recorded more than 200,000 claims lodged. In addition, its employees collected a $13,000 donation to the Red Cross Disaster Fund for those who were affected by the North Island floods and Cyclone Gabrielle.
“While there are many challenges ahead, we remain committed to getting things sorted for our customers – now, and well into the future,” the insurer, which is part-owned by Suncorp and the New Zealand Automobile Association, said.
