Tower has announced the rollout of an integrated software solution in partnership with Hello Claims and Panel Quote, aiming to enhance efficiency in motor claims processing for its repair network across New Zealand.

The integration follows a successful trial and is now being made available to repairers nationwide to reduce administrative tasks and streamline interactions with insurers.

Simplifying motor assessment for repairers

The system enables Panel Quote users to complete quotes, invoices, and file notes directly within the platform. This reduces manual processing and expedites invoicing and payments for repairers working with insurers using Hello Claims’ platform.

Tower chief claims officer Steve Wilson (pictured right) said the integration is designed to simplify workflows for repairers.

“If you’re a repairer that works with Tower and you use Panel Quote at your shop – this integration will make the claims process easier for you and your teams,” he said.

Platform feedback

The system was trialled from November 2024 to mid-January 2025, and full implementation is expected within the first half of 2025.

Jackie Davison, director of The Junction Panel & Paint Ltd, a Tower repair partner that participated in the trial, said the integration has made processes more efficient.

“It’s so easy to submit quotes and photos without any hassles or limitations. We’re also looking forward to making the most of the added functionality that we haven’t seen before in other integrations. This is really positive, and we can’t wait to see how it improves things for everyone involved,” Davison said.

Panel Quote provides shop management software for the local panel repair and paint refinishing industry. Currently, around 50% of repairers nationwide use Panel Quote.

Nick Hayman, Panel Quote’s director of operations and CEO, said the company remains committed to improving claims management efficiency.

“As a fellow Kiwi born and bred company, we’re excited to help simplify the claims experience for Tower’s repair network too,” he said.

The launch of the integrated software solution follows Tower’s recent partnership with mortgage aggregation firm Finsure, which aims to reduce administrative work for advisers while offering a smoother experience for clients seeking insurance coverage.
