Seedly has recently launched a new travel insurance product designed to cater to a wide range of customers, including families and adventure enthusiasts.
The insurance is available in two plans: Seedly Travel Safe and Seedly Travel Secure, each offering different levels of coverage but ensuring comprehensive protection for a variety of unforeseen events.
The travel insurance, underwritten by HL Assurance and distributed by SingSaver, comes with eight complimentary riders. These riders cover a range of scenarios including children’s coverage, overseas medical coverage which encompasses COVID-19, coverage for personal accidents and permanent disability, increased payouts for public transport incidents, child support grants, child companion benefits, trip inconveniences, and adventurous sports.
This wide-ranging coverage aims to safeguard customers from various risks such as personal accidents, travel-related disruptions and emergencies, health incidents, natural disasters, and issues related to trip cancellations, delays, or interruptions.
Seedly Travel Insurance has been specifically designed to address the needs of families and individuals engaged in adventurous activities. It offers a child support grant, ensuring that children are covered under their parents' policy in case of unforeseen events.
Moreover, there is a child companion benefit, which covers the expenses for an adult to travel from Singapore to accompany a child back home, should the insured parent be hospitalized overseas. Additionally, customers are automatically covered for adventurous sports activities like mountaineering, hiking, or scuba diving, without the need for any extra fees or add-ons.
