Global professional services firm Aon has announced the appointment of Marguerita Silitonga (pictured above) as president director of Reinsurance Solutions in Indonesia, effective immediately.

Silitonga, based in Jakarta, will report to Musa Adlan, executive director and head of Reinsurance Solutions in Southeast Asia.

In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and executing strategy, driving growth, and managing all operations for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions in Indonesia.

Previously, Silitonga served as a senior relationship manager and treaty broker for several key clients at Aon, where she gained additional business operations responsibilities. She joined Aon from MSIG Indonesia in 2020, bringing over 12 years of experience in reinsurance strategy optimization.

“During her time at Aon, Marguerita has demonstrated effective leadership and a deep understanding of Indonesia broking operations,” Aldan said. “She has been critical to our recent successes, and her contributions have played a major part in executing our growth strategies and helping to shape better business decisions for clients. I wish her well in her new role.”

Silitonga has passed the Fit and Proper Test required by the Indonesia financial services regulator OJK.

The global brokerage also recently announced the retirement of Paul Davies from his role as vice chair after a 36-year tenure with the company and 63 years in the industry.

Davies assumed the position of vice chair in 2023, reporting to Aon chief executive Greg Case. In this capacity, he provided strategic advice on the shifting risk management landscape and contributed to the enhancement of Aon’s risk capital capability.
