Future Generali India Life Insurance has appointed Alok Rungta as its managing director and CEO, starting April 1, subject to approval from regulatory bodies.
According to BNN's report, Rungta – who is transitioning from his role as deputy CEO and CFO – is poised to replace Bruce De Broize by the end of March.

The transition also serves as a moment to honour the contributions of De Broize, with Rob Leonardi, regional officer international – Asia at Generali, expressing appreciation for his leadership and impact.
Runtga’s career has spanned multiple geographies including the Philippines, Hong Kong, and India. Rungta said that he aims to widen the company's market penetration and elevate customer engagement.
“Leading in the dynamic Indian market, my goal is to bring new ideas, expand our reach, and ensure we add value to the lives of our customers and stakeholders,” he said, as reported by BNN.
