Coalition has revealed a strategic alliance with MS&AD Insurance Group to offer cybersecurity monitoring solutions tailored for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Japan.
Recently, MS&AD introduced its inaugural cyber risk assessment service, the MS&AD Cyber Risk Finder. This service, employing Coalition Control – a risk management platform developed by Coalition – is specifically crafted for the entire Japanese SMB market.
Leveraging Coalition Control, the MS&AD Cyber Risk Finder delivers cyber risk diagnostics and consultancy services based on vulnerability data gathered from internet-connected devices globally. This offering provides detailed diagnostic reports to businesses, including personalised vulnerability scores, identification of weak access points, and a prioritised action plan for remediation.
In the upcoming months, this partnership is also set to broaden by introducing an array of additional cybersecurity products and services.

Elsewhere in the country, Japan’s Bigmotor scandal may only be scratching the surface of a possible wider insurance fraud problem, with new reports surfacing involving other companies in illicit activities.
