Beazley has bolstered its cyber insurance proposition – snapping up IT risks expert Luc Vignancour as the London-headquartered firm expands its offering across Europe and the Middle East.
Bringing 27 years of insurance industry experience, Vignancour joins Beazley’s technology media & business services (TMB) team. The key hire is making the switch from Marsh, where he was instrumental in setting up the brokerage giant’s cyber practice in France.
Vignancour also previously served as an underwriter for IT system-related risks at Ace, and as an industrial and IT risk prevention consultant for the likes of French insurance group GAN.

The specialist insurer’s offerings include Beazley Breach Response (BBR), which coordinates expert, legal, reporting, and credit monitoring services. Beazley has managed over 9,000 worldwide data security breaches since launching BBR in 2009.
