Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has announced the appointment of Alexandros Ampatzis as head of marine in Asia Pacific, starting Nov. 1. He will report to Jamie Tang, regional underwriting director for APAC.
Prior to joining TMK, Ampatzis was marine manager for Starr Insurance's South-East Asia branch. He also held various roles at AXA, most recently deputy head of marine cargo underwriting in Singapore.
In his new role, Ampatzis will focus on deepening TMK's presence in markets across Australia and the Middle East.
