Distinguished Programs, a US national insurance program manager, has announced a new partnership with re/insurer SiriusPoint for its inland marine insurance program.
The program will provide tailored coverage for inland marine exposures, including motor truck cargo, transportation, contractors’ equipment, and builders’ risk.
To offer a comprehensive solution for contractors and logistics providers, the product will also include ancillary coverages such as rigging liability, installation, and relevant commercial property. The coverage will be available nationwide and backed by SiriusPoint.
“Our mission is to deliver efficiency and customization in Inland Marine insurance, with our expert team on hand to help brokers secure the right coverage for their clients,” Distinguished inland marine group president Eric Michel (pictured above) said.
He also emphasized the importance of the partnership with SiriusPoint in supporting agents and brokers across the country.

Patrick Charles, head of North America insurance at SiriusPoint, also commented on the partnership.
