The future of the insurance industry is already being written by the ‘Rising Stars’ who are setting trends, spurring innovation and evoking change across the insurance ecosystem. And that future has never looked brighter than it does when you consider the individuals recognised in this - Insurance Business Asia (IB Asia)’s second annual ‘Rising Stars’ showcase.
Revealed: IB Asia’s 2021 Rising Stars
Earlier this year, insurance professionals from across Asia were invited to nominate the exceptional young talent among them for inclusion in this list. Nominees had to be aged 35 or under (as of December 31, 2021) and to have clearly demonstrated their commitment to the insurance profession. In line with the purpose of this list, only those who had not previously been recognised as Rising Stars were considered.
The nominations included young professionals working in a wide range of insurance roles across Asia. Considered recipients were asked about their jobs, key achievements, career goals and contributions to the wider market. Recommendations from managers and senior industry professionals were also taken into account. Using this methodology, the IB Asia team was able to narrow down the list of nominees to select the 16 most promising young people in Asia’s insurance sector.
