Tilleke & Gibbins, a law firm spanning several Southeast Asian markets, has promoted three insurance specialist partners in the region.
Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh leads the firm’s non-contentious insurance practice across Southeast Asia, as well as practicing in other corporate and commercial areas, including technology- and data privacy-related client matters. Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, in 2016 Athistha served as senior vice president – general counsel at
AIG Thailand. Based in Bangkok, Athistha has been ranked as a leading insurance lawyer in Thailand by Chambers Asia-Pacific.
Kien Trung Trinh is based in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Hanoi office. He focuses on corporate formation, as well as various employment law matters including benefit plans, social and health insurance, taxation, and employment contracts. He also takes an active role in the firm’s regional life sciences practice, where he advises and assists clients with registration of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, foods, and animal products, as well as compliance matters.
Vinh Quoc Nguyen is an expert in commercial transactions and M&A, based in the firm’s Ho Chi Minh City office. He holds a doctorate in judicial science from Meiji Gakuin University in Japan, and he served as a legal expert in Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice for over a decade before joining Tilleke & Gibbins.
With these promotions, Tilleke & Gibbins now has 24 partners and 138 associates in its seven offices across Southeast Asia.
