Life and health reinsurance provider Pacific Life Re has appointed Sujin Park as the new head of underwriting and claims for its Asia business.
Park’s appointment underscores the company’s commitment to excellence in serving its clients in the Asian markets, Pacific Life Re said in a statement.
Park brings over two decades of experience in life and health underwriting and claims, having held key roles at insurance and reinsurance firms in South Korea and other Asian markets.
She will be based in Singapore.
Andrew Doran, Pacific Life Re’s global chief underwriting officer, said the company was delighted to welcome Park.
“Her experience and deep understanding of the Asian markets’ dynamics and regulations will undoubtedly enhance our underwriting and claims capabilities,” Doran said.
Park said she was excited to join the Pacific Life Re team and lead the underwriting and claims efforts in the region.

Her appointment is part of Pacific Life Re’s strategic plans to grow in Asia and provide reinsurance expertise and service standards to clients.
