London-based insurance brokerage Miller has hired two executives to help grow its Asia-Pacific business.
Experienced business development professionals John Moncavage and Piers Hughes will be based in the brokerage’s Singapore office.
Moncavage will head Miller’s credit and political risks division, bringing in specialist expertise and capability to its Singapore team. He was previously head of trade credit & political risks for Asia at
Ironshore in Singapore. He has also worked for Willis, HCC Credit Group, ACE, and Bank of Montreal.
Meanwhile, Hughes will work closely with the property, casualty, and energy teams in Singapore and London to help strengthen its client offering and drive revenue growth in Asia. His areas of focus will include property, terrorism, downstream energy, and engineering. He joins Miller from
Howden, where he was head of reinsurance and based in Bangkok.
