McLarens opens Dubai office, appoints new country manager

Industry-veteran appointee to also oversee operations in Abu Dhabi office

Global loss adjusting firm McLarens has opened its new office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to provide further support for its clients in the Middle East. The new Dubai team will be headed by Malcolm Addy, the new country manager for the UAE.
 
Addy’s appointment took effect on September 1, reporting to Mike Barnes, regional director for the Middle East and Africa. Addy also oversees operations in the company’s Abu Dhabi location.
 
Having worked in the Middle East for 19 years, Addy brings over 34 years’ experience in managing loss adjustment and handling major losses in the power generation, energy, EAR/CAR and utility sectors. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (FCILA). He is a graduate of the University of Sheffield with a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
