Aside from being in charge of the development of new insurance solutions for digital assets such as cryptocurrency, Wickens will also be working closely with Marsh JLT Specialty’s New York-based digital asset risk transfer team.
Another piece of good news for the business is the comeback of Brian Warszona to serve as cyber growth leader. Warszona, who started his career in 2007 with Marsh before leaving in 2013 to join ACE, is making the switch from Willis Towers Watson.
Tapped to work with clients across the UK and Europe to deliver the cyber risk management, risk financing, and insurance solutions they need, the returning executive is slated to come onboard by the end of the year.
“Clients require solutions that tap into the latest thinking and resources to mitigate issues such as data security and privacy, while enabling them to take advantage of rapidly-evolving technologies such as blockchain,” noted Marsh JLT Specialty’s Paul Denny, UK chief executive for the FINPRO practice.
“Adam and Brian are two of the leading experts in the cyber, cryptocurrency, and digital asset insurance space. Both will play important roles in supporting clients by delivering the effective and efficient insurance and risk management strategies they require.”
Both Wickens and Warszona are based in London.
