Labelled TravelJoy, the new travel insurance is “designed to go beyond conventional travel insurance boundaries to ensure peace of mind for customers.” Coverage is expected to include not only medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage but also telehealth services. Travelers would be able to consult a medical professional no matter where they may be in the world.
“We’ve always believed that our customers’ travel experiences should be seamless and hassle-free.
We’re excited to partner with Zurich Singapore to launch TravelJoy, bringing comprehensive coverage and peace of mind for our Singaporean customers,” said Chuan Sheng (C.S.) Soong, CEO at Klook Insurance. “Travel insurance is a non-negotiable post pandemic, and this partnership is a testament of how we continue to push boundaries and ensure our customers are protected during their travels."
TravelJoy can be purchased using the Klook platform. The launch of the insurance marks a new milestone for both organizations. The collaboration follows Zurich Singapore’s fresh entry into digital retail partnerships, with the launch of its new service called Zurich Edge. The new service aims to provide a more personalized plan for customers. Customers can easily access their tailored insurance online.
"We are thrilled to embark on this partnership with Klook, marking our foray into digital retail in Singapore. Amplifying our digital presence in the retail sector by establishing more embedded insurance partnerships, is a key part of our strategic agenda, as businesses and customers look
for more seamless, tailored and relevant offerings in the insurance space to engage with,” said Reginald Peacock, CEO at Zurich Singapore. “Through this partnership, we are committed to delivering seamless, dependable travel coverage with exceptional service to Klook’s customers.”
