PT Axle Asia (Axle Asia), an established insurance broker in Indonesia, has rebranded as PT Bolttech Insurance Broker.
This change follows the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Axle Asia by insurtech firm bolttech in late 2022 and has been approved by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), in line with its goals to advance the insurtech industry in Indonesia.
Bolttech spans four continents, offering a broad spectrum of insurance products, distribution partnerships, and technological solutions.
The rebranding is set to connect both corporate and individual clients with insurance solutions, developing a network of distribution partners and insurers in the Indonesian market.

The rebranding will not impact existing services or agreements.
The establishment of PT Bolttech Insurance Broker follows bolttech’s debut in the Middle East through a collaboration with a leading telecommunications entity in the region.
