Well Link Insurance Group has appointed Thomas Lee (pictured above) as CEO of Well Link General Insurance Company and deputy CEO of Well Link Insurance Group. Lee will retain his current role as CEO of Well Link Life Insurance Company, which he held since April 2019.
With the appointment, Lee is now in charge of both life insurance and general insurance businesses of the group.
Prior to joining Well Link Life, Lee was an actuary and worked at AIA for more than 19 years, holding various senior management roles, including chief corporate solutions officer, director of product strategy, and chief actuary.
Lee is also an active participant of in the wider Hong Kong insurance industry, having previously been chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) and chairman of HKFI’s Life Insurance Council.
