Guy Carpenter, a Marsh McLennan-backed global risk and reinsurance specialist, has appointed Blake Dimitrijevic as the new head of capital advisory for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, effective immediately.
Dimitrijevic (pictured) joined Guy Carpenter from Swiss Re, where he was the head of property and casualty business management for APAC. During his 17-year career with the company, Dimitrijevic worked in several senior leadership roles in Asia and London across non-life, life and health, structured solutions, and group treasury functions.
In his new role, Dimitrijevic will lead Guy Carpenter's APAC Capital Advisory team, which supports clients with complex capital and funding needs across the region. He is based in Hong Kong SAR and reports to Guy Carpenter Asia Pacific CEO Tony Gallagher.
Guy Carpenter's Capital Advisory team provides client solutions and advisory services, including regulatory and rating agency, asset and liability management, portfolio optimization, and reinsurance to support M&A. It also offers solutions to help improve clients' capital fungibility and return on equity.
