Generali Group has unveiled plans to establish 25 additional branches throughout Malaysia, marking a strategic move to enhance services and build stronger relationships with the Malaysian customer base.
Generali Insurance Malaysia CEO Fabrice Benard said that this expansion was aimed at bringing the company closer to its customers. He emphasised the company’s dedication to enabling individuals to shape a safer and more sustainable future by caring for their lives and aspirations.
Generali recently opened a new branch in the country, situated at Pusat Komersial Saujana in Seremban 2 Heights. This has been strategically established to provide residents with a comprehensive and integrated insurance experience, accessible under one roof.
Stressing the significance of the human touch in the insurance industry, Benard highlighted Generali's commitment to advancing its omni-channel strategy, tailoring services to customers' preferences, whether through servicing agents, branches, or digital platforms.
“In the coming year, our branches nationwide will model after the Seremban branch and progressively transform into multi-functional spaces to foster greater engagement and long-lasting relationships with our customers. We will also continue to invest in our digital touchpoints for customers’ easy accessibility and convenience,” he said in a report from The Star.
Both Generali’s general and life insurance branches in Seremban have been relocated to this new premise, providing a consolidated and efficient service point for customers.
Benard also shared insights into Generali's brand refresh strategy, which supports the transformation of branches nationwide to meet customers’ rising demand for a holistic yet personalised experience.
“Having served the locals here in Seremban for decades, we are very proud to continue on this meaningful journey to support the city with a unique yet integrated insurance experience, serving both general and life insurance solutions under one roof and, at the same time, advancing our sustainability commitment and providing job opportunities to the locals," he said. “Having served the locals here in Seremban for decades, we are very proud to continue on this meaningful journey to support the city with a unique yet integrated insurance experience, serving both general and life insurance solutions under one roof and, at the same time, advancing our sustainability commitment and providing job opportunities to the locals.”
Elsewhere in the country, Generali recently teamed up with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in a meeting aimed at enhancing resilience in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the face of climate change.
