Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) has appointed Dawood Yeung (pictured) as head of engineering underwriting, GC&C Asia.
In his new role, Yeung will be responsible for steering the company’s engineering business across the Asian region. He succeeds Timson Hui and reports directly to Axel Roesner, head of GC&C Asia.
With over 19 years of international experience in the insurance industry, focusing on underwriting and loss prevention engineering, Yeung joined Generali in 2004 as engineering senior manager. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in Canada and holds an honours degree in applied science in civil engineering and a master’s degree in Science from The University of Hong Kong.
“I am delighted to announce the promotion of Dawood Yeung and I am sure that, in his new capacity, he will strongly contribute to further strengthen our unique underwriting skills,” said Roesner. “Having a very strong team, we will continue to be committed to the Asian market and to serve our clients at the highest level.”
