FWD Life Insurance (FWD Philippines) kicked off the year announcing multiple awards recognizing its digital insurance solutions and corporate governance.
The company took second place in the 2024 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and won two Golden Arrows at the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.
Meanwhile, its data protection officer was also named among the top five finalists at the Privacy Awareness Week Awards 2024.
"These awards showcase our unwavering commitment to nation-building as we strengthen our position as the insurer of the next generation," said president and CEO Jumbing De Rosas. "Innovation is just one part of the solution to expanding financial inclusion in our country. We will continue to work together with our partners to help more Filipinos build their best future."
Achievements under its belt include recognition for “The One for gamers”, FWD's customizable insurance plan for the gaming community. The product, launched in partnership with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines, earned multiple accolades including the Tech Innovator of the Year - Advertiser at the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines' Boomerang Awards.
FWD Philippines also secured Gold for Excellence in AI-Powered Storytelling at the Marketing Excellence Awards for its content engine, which creates thousands of ads using AI and Metadata.
Meanwhile, one of the company's community development programs was recognized with a Bronze award at the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for SparktheDream, a financial literacy initiative launched with Junior Achievement of the Philippines.
In its decade of operations, FWD Philippines has risen to rank third and fourth nationally in new business annual premium equivalent and premium income respectively, serving as part of FWD Group's network of over 13 million customers across 10 markets.
