MR HealthTech Ltd, a division of Munich Re, has announced that it will be providing health insurer Cigna Global Health Benefits with its MedNeXt health insurance administration system.
MedNeXt is an administration system designed to support the core functions of health insurance end-to-end. In a statement, MR HealthTech said that the system decreases the complexity of creating and managing complicated health insurance products, enhances customer experience throughout the claims process, and provides tools for successful portfolio management.
The implementation of the platform will be carried out jointly by Deloitte Consulting and MR HealthTech. Once completed, the MedNeXt health insurance administration system will be integrated in Cigna Global Health Benefit’s service delivery – including product, client set-up, eligibility and enrolment, premium billing, and claims.
