Chubb Life in Hong Kong has received a Platinum Award for its technology initiatives at the recent inaugural Hong Kong Fintech Impetus Awards held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The award recognises the insurer’s integration of technology into its services and efforts to provide better service for its customers, distribution partners, and employees, a statement from Chubb said. The company has given significant focus to the areas of cyber security, data usage, cloud computing, online underwriting, mobile technology, and payments.
Some of Chubb’s recent technology initiatives include a new e-mail marketing and customer relationship management system, the eSMART platform that digitises the policy application process, and Chubb Info, a mobile app that allows its insurance consultants to easily track their business performance and manage their clients as well as receive announcements from the company.
“We are proud to receive the Platinum Award from the Hong Kong FinTech Impetus Awards,” said Michael Ho, president of Chubb Life in Hong Kong. “It is a testament to Chubb's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation that we are always exploring how we can further serve our customers. One of the ways we do this is through the technology platforms and tools we provide to our distribution partners and employees so that they can serve our customers even better.”
The awards are organised by Hong Kong broadcaster Metro Finance, and aim to highlight financial companies, institutions, and organisations that contribute to the development of fintech in the city.
