Leading health insurance specialist Bupa Hong Kong has appointed two new executives to its Hong Kong insurance team.
Jim Heng was named director of channel strategy, distribution, and sales effective in June, while Carlos Chang was appointed operation director earlier this month.
Heng has over 25 years of experience with focus on employee benefits and individual medical insurance, having held the positions of chief distribution officer at Cigna Hong Kong and head of health at AXA Singapore prior to his appointment at Bupa. Heng will help Bupa deliver an integrated healthcare experience to group and individual customers in Hong Kong.
Chang brings extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industries to his new role in Bupa. Before his appointment, Chang served as head of operations of QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong), where he oversaw a transformation agenda in underwriting and operations via automation and product migration. He will likewise be responsible for elevating customer experience and enhancing customer-centricity through digital transformation in Bupa.
