Brokerslink has welcomed two new affiliates in the region: LK Insurance Services from South Korea and State Insurance Services from Malaysia.
The two firms have joined the global broking network shortly after Singapore’s John Foord did the same. According to a statement from Brokerslink, the three additions will increase its capabilities and access to local expertise within the region.
LK Insurance Services is a fast-growing broking firm in Korea, specialising in oil & gas, telecommunications, chemicals, and logistics. Meanwhile, State Insurance Services has over 40 years’ experience, and is a preferred broking partner of over one thousand corporate clients of various sizes in Malaysia.
“The expansion of our network in Asia underlines our commitment to supporting independent brokers across the region,” said Sid Garcia, Brokerslink regional manager, Asia-Pacific. “Asia’s economic might and influence on global trade is contrasted somewhat by its insurance penetration levels when compared to western Europe and North America, therefore we are pleased to be able to give our brokers and insurer partners the opportunity to access and unlock the vast potential of Asian insurance markets.”
