Bain & Company announced that Dr Henrik Naujoks (pictured), global head of its insurance practice, has relocated to its Hong Kong office to head the firm’s Asia-Pacific financial services practice.
Naujoks will continue with his current role, while taking on the additional responsibilities of overseeing the growth, strategy, talent, and operations in the fast-growing region.
“Henrik has a deep and broad knowledge of the financial services industry,” said Satish Shankar, Bain & Company’s Asia-Pacific managing partner. “His experience will further strengthen our regional presence and allow us to continue growing in the region, by partnering with our clients to help them adapt to the ever evolving financial services landscape.”
Naujoks has over 25 years of management consulting experience – advising companies in the insurance and banking sectors on corporate and business unit strategy, customer strategy, organization, and post-merger integrations. He’s also actively involved in social impact initiatives, with a special interest in education, focusing on financial literacy and humanitarian aid. In 2007, he was elected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.
“I’m thrilled to be in Hong Kong and to have an opportunity to work with the incredible teams across the very dynamic and innovative Asia-Pacific region,” said Naujoks. “The rules of engagement for the insurance industry in Asia-Pacific are rapidly changing, and I’m eager to help our clients here win in this new environment.”
