AXA XL has appointed Stephen Nguyen as client management leader for Asia. He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Jonathan Mead, head of client & distribution, Asia-Pacific.
Nguyen will be responsible for delivering client strategies and excellent customer experience throughout Asia, according to a statement from AXA XL. He joined AXA XL after an over four-year stint with Aon, where he most recently held the position of director and Aon global client network manager for outward accounts. Prior to this, he held several account executive positions in Marsh and was insurance manager at Goodman Limited.
“We are very excited to welcome Stephen to the team,” said Mead. “Working in conjunction with our intermediary partners, Stephen will undoubtedly complement our broker model and embody AXA XL’s commitment to putting our customer first.”
“Asia is fast evolving, with disruptive technologies and emerging risks impacting traditional business models,” added Craig Langham, regional hub leader, Asia-Pacific, Insurance. “Clients now look beyond current risks to ensure they are prepared for the risks of tomorrow, and there have never been more opportunities for AXA XL to make a difference to our clients and brokers. Growing our client and distribution team is one of the ways that we demonstrate our commitment to the market.”
