AXA Singapore and online marketplace Carousell have partnered to allow users to buy second-hand car and motorcycle insurance coverage on the latter’s app.
According to a statement by the two firms, integrating the purchase of motor insurance into the platform will make it more convenient for car buyers and ensure that they are covered when driving their recently bought vehicle.
Users can receive instant quotes for a range of car insurance plans on the app, which they can purchase online. The time needed to purchase insurance and obtain policy documents is estimated at less than five minutes.
