Anviti Insurance Brokers has appointed Jonathan Pipe as chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Pipe joined Anviti after a 15-year stint with Aon, where he was most recently head of specialty business in Indonesia. Prior to that, he was Asia regional director for marine, based in Hong Kong, and client director for marine, based in London.
He holds a Master of Science degree in insurance and risk management from the Cass Business School in London, and is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
“Anviti has established itself as a well-respected insurance broking firm acting with integrity for clients within and outside of India,” said Abishek Laxminarayan, director at Anviti. “We’re pleased to have Jon on board and look forward to leveraging his expertise and track record in steering Anviti through this next phase of growth.”
