Allianz General Insurance has signed a three-year agreement with Thai online marketplace Kaidee to distribute insurance products.
In the first stage of the distribution agreement, four insurance products – motor, home and contents, travel, and personal accident – will be featured, a report by The Nation said.
In order to remind consumers about the importance of insurance, the products will be featured in their related sections. For example, information about motor insurance will be found in Kaidee’s automotive section. This provides customers with a seamless and uninterrupted shopping experience, the firms said.
According to Sirinthip Chotithamaporn, Allianz Thailand president and CEO, the partnership is “an ideal combination of the convenience of the digital age and the consumers’ desire for personalized products and services.”
“We consistently look for a strategic partner who helps uplift our customer experience and answer our customers’ needs when it comes to buying and selling on our platform,” said Tiwa York, CEO of Kaidee. “Allianz’s commitment to be a part of customers’ everyday life – to help them protect what their most precious asset is what we share together.”
