Allianz PNB Life, a joint venture between the German insurance giant and Philippine National Bank, has received two Silver Anvils at the 54th Anvil Awards in recognition of its public relations campaigns.
The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the awards’ organiser, lauded Allianz PNB’s ‘Dare to Be Fit’ campaign “for encouraging employees to participate in different activities that promote sports and a healthy lifestyle.”
It is a company-wide fitness and wellness program, aiming to encouraging employee participation in health initiatives. The insurer’s employees were divided into five groups and competed in both athletic and non-athletic events that promoted physical fitness and team spirit.
The program’s culminating activity was an obstacle course race held during the company’s summer outing. According to the insurer, the program’s success sparked a second run and employed a full digital facility to further ensure the integrity of the competition.
Meanwhile, the PRSP also recognised Allianz PNB Life’s 2017 annual report for “focusing on our right to dream big for ourselves and our country.” It also cited the company for highlighting “how one shouldn’t give up on his dreams.”
The report’s cover showed two young Filipino football players carrying the Philippine flag. The two were athletes the company sent to join a global football camp in Germany under the mentorship of FC Bayern Munich coaches.
