AIA Hong Kong and Macau has announced that 3,785 of its financial planners have qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
The insurer revealed that it has employed the largest number of MDRT qualifiers among all insurers in both the Hong Kong and Macau markets for the past 17 years, according to a report by the Hong Kong Standard.
An insurance agent can qualify for the MDRT, which is an international association of insurance professionals in 69 countries, if they meet a certain amount of premium sold in a calendar year.
“Our top ranking in MDRT membership in Hong Kong and Macau for 17 years underscores the exceptional results of our continued implementation of the ‘Premier Agency’ strategy to develop the best talent,” said Peter Crewe, chief executive officer of AIA Hong Kong and Macau.
