Formerly regional key account manager for Asia-Pacific and head of distribution management for Singapore, Walker will continue reporting to Mark Mitchell, regional managing director, AGCS Asia-Pacific.
Walker joined AGCS in 2011 as a business strategy analyst for global energy in London. He relocated to Johannesburg in 2013 as head of energy for Africa and later became regional head of energy and marine for the region. Walker joined AGCS’ Asia-Pacific team in January 2018.
“Alasdair will steer the regional distribution management agenda to further increase new business, raise the external profile of the AGCS value proposition, as well as effectively managing strategic broker relationships and ensuring client satisfaction across different client and industry segments,” the global specialty insurer said.
Walker holds MBA degrees from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School.
