Springer will be based in Singapore and will oversee the company’s core financial functions across Asia-Pacific. This includes ensuring compliance with local regulatory financial reporting requirements, adhering to global finance processes and standards, and practising proper risk management.
Springer has in-depth experience in the finance function within the insurance industry, as well as management experience across multiple markets. She was most recently head of cost controlling at AGCS Munich and, prior to that, held various team lead appointments including head of strategic planning and performance management. She was also head of analytic reporting, and head of financial and regulatory reporting at Allianz SE Munich.
Prior to joining the Allianz Group in 2010, Springer was with Deloitte Consulting for six years, where she focused on finance transformation in various industries such as consumer goods, telecommunications and retail. She holds a master’s degree in finance from London Business School.
