Online motor and travel insurer Budget Direct Insurance Singapore has issued a challenge to local motorists, offering free insurance coverage to those who can meet the terms of the initiative.
As part of the challenge, drivers are encouraged to take a comprehensive car insurance quote from Budget Direct Insurance and compare it with their current insurer’s renewal notice. If the renewal notice is cheaper (as verified by Budget Direct Insurance), drivers can be reimbursed with free insurance coverage from Budget Direct.
The online insurer touted its confidence for its new Pay Less or Pay Nothing promotion, saying that it is a win-win proposition for Singaporean motorists who will participate; customers can either secure reduced premiums for their insurance needs or come away with free coverage.
Budget Direct Insurance CEO Simon Burch said that this initiative would not only benefit customers but also shine a spotlight on the savings that motorists can make by choosing Budget Direct over other insurers.
“Drivers with us can make a saving of up to 55% on car insurance premiums, and that's a significant sum,” Birch said, citing a report from ValueChampion. “While many insurance companies dangle seemingly attractive promotions such as discounts, vouchers, and cashback, an independent study has revealed that Budget Direct Insurance consistently offers better deals. Even after factoring in such promotions, Budget Direct Insurance remains virtually unmatched.
“This challenge is an exciting opportunity for drivers to secure insurance that fits their budget. With our competitive pricing and unwavering service, the challenge is on!” he said.
Elsewhere in Singapore, HSBC Life recently unveiled its own promotion that offers free cancer protection policies to the country’s residents.
