K2 Group Holdings Limited (K2 International), a London-based specialty insurance re/insurance underwriting platform under K2 Insurance Services, has announced its opening of its box in Lloyd’s of London.
Three divisions from K2 International will operate from the box, with key underwriters available to engage with brokers. K2 Rubicon Specialty will be represented by Gavin Wall, managing director; Matthew Eve, head of property; and Chris McGill, head of cargo.
K2 Crisis Management will have Tom Kennett, its head of division, present. K2 Property D&F will be represented by Robert Coker, managing director; Christian Bennett, senior underwriter; and Jacob Gladding, underwriter. The underwriters are set to connect with brokers to discuss opportunities and explore solutions in the specialty insurance and reinsurance markets.
Richard Coello (pictured above), CEO of K2 International, highlighted the significance of this milestone, attributing it to the capabilities of the underwriting divisions and their commitment to clients.
"We are delighted to have our talented divisions present at the box in Lloyd’s of London today,” Coello said. “This is a testament to the strength of our platform, the dedication of our underwriters, and our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients. We look forward to fruitful discussions and building on our shared successes in the dynamic Lloyd’s market."
K2 International’s underwriting divisions include property catastrophe, commercial property, financial institutions, marine, political violence, terrorism, and credit.
