Consilium, the global specialty re/insurance brokerage under the Aventum Group, has announced the appointment of Daniel Leveridge as partner and head of technical in its cargo division.
Leveridge will work alongside senior partner Jack Cooper in leading the recently launched cargo team.
Leveridge brings over 25 years of experience to the role, having previously served as divisional director at Alesco Risk Management Services. His career includes positions at Miller Insurance Service LLP, Arthur J Gallagher International, and Lloyd and Partners.
His expertise includes cargo stock throughput risks, business development, client relationship management, and the creation of bespoke insurance products.
The cargo division at Consilium has been positioned to leverage specialist knowledge and advanced technology to place risks efficiently. It is focused on delivering client-oriented services while responding to the evolving needs of the market.
Cooper noted that the team is prepared to take advantage of increased capacity and favorable pricing conditions.
