The recent outages that plagued SSP have forced some insurance brokers to switch from the troubled insurance software house.
The latest insurance firm to ditch SSP is rhg Insurance Brokers, which has selected Applied TAMCloud of Applied Systems to gain a single view of their business and enhance business continuity in the cloud.
Lesley Smith, finance director at rhg Insurance Brokers, reveals that the company has been reviewing its whole IT outlook. And as a longtime MCS/Sectornet/Sirius/SSP user, the firm had hoped that the solutions would have been within that business group.

“Having been with them since the early 1980s, it will be a big change for us but we felt that Applied better catered for our future needs,” Smith says. “We have been very unsettled by the SSP outage and are continuing to suffer the effects.”
