Major broker Willis Towers Watson has made several changes to the leadership team of its corporate risk and broking (CRB) business.
The brokerage giant said the streamlined team will strengthen CRB’s leadership capability and strategic focus, improving connectivity across the company
The latest appointments include Toby Wemyss, global head of facultative business; Phillip Smaje, global head of broking; and Paul Monks, global head of affinity business.

Also joining the new leadership team are Alexis Faber, global head of financial lines business; Eric Joost, global head of property and casualty business; and Mike Liss, head of CRB activities for North America.
Todd Jones, Global Head of Corporate Risk and Broking at Willis Towers Watson, said that the appointments are “all about delivering best client outcomes” amid changing customer needs.
“Clients no longer want to buy a product, they want a holistic view of the risks and opportunities facing their businesses in 2017 and beyond,” Jones said. “Our focus at Willis Towers Watson and in the CRB business is to provide our clients with such a view as they seek to mitigate and manage the risks and opportunities ahead.”
