One Manchester-based insurance firm has given a clear indication of its intentions by announcing a huge expansion.
Quote My Life has shifted to a new office space based in Stretford after increasing its staff by more than 500% - rising from 12 to 70.
The move coincides with a significant marketing push and the relaunch of its website with owner Andy Williams telling the Manchester Evening News that the staff “deserved” a new office and that it has been designed to be as “bright and fun as possible to enhance productivity.”
“We’re now totally focused on making our call centre staff happy in their new environment,” he told the publication.
“We know the benefits of having a happy team and those values are the reason we’ve managed to grow so rapidly.”
The company has been making waves in the local area recently by working alongside a number of celebrities, such as Kym Marsh and Jason Manford, in supporting local charities – and Williams suggests that being a family friendly brand will be important in earning the trust of potential customers.
“We know that there’s some bad reputations for certain life insurance companies, and we want to change the way people think of them,” he told the publication.
“We want people to know that honesty is the best policy and stop any issues when it comes to making a claim.
“We would rather tell you it will cost a little more if you have a few medical issues, rather than come to a never ending battle when it's needed. We’re a Manchester team working for Manchester people and beyond.”
