Specialist Lloyd’s insurer Neon has made another senior hire following its recent rebrand, poaching an experienced executive from a major global industry player.
Neon has appointed Mireille Dolonen as marine and offshore construction underwriter, who will play a central role in supporting the expansion of the two business lines.
“We have identified marine as a key line for Neon as we move the business forward, and see significant scope to expand our offering in this space,” said Neon CEO Martin Reith.
He added that Dolonen “has the perfect credentials to support our ambition of becoming a leading market in marine and offshore construction.”
“Mireille brings both strong relationships and an outstanding level of technical and industry expertise,” Reith said.
Dolonen has more than 20 years of experience in the marine and offshore construction space. She joins from
Aon where she served as marine and offshore construction business development manager.
She also spent five years each at Nemi Forsikring and
RSA, where she was an underwriter and global head of marine and offshore construction in London, respectively.
Neon, formerly known as Marketform, launched its rebranded business last week. Following this move, the company announced the opening of its new office in Bermuda to herald its global expansion.
