Miller picks up another Guy Carpenter exec

Miller Insurance continues to strengthen its facultative property team, announcing its second hire in less than two weeks.

 

The specialist brokerage has recruited senior broker and producer Mark Sherwin to enhance its capabilities in facultative property insurance.

 

Sherwin will work with the team in London in a broking and business production role, bringing in a wealth of reinsurance experience in the production and placement of property business.

“With his extensive experience and knowledge in the facultative property arena, Mark is a valuable addition to our team,” said Neil Higgins, Miller’s head of facultative reinsurance in London.

With a career spanning 35 years, Sherwin had worked at industry giants AIG, Arthur J. Gallagher and most recently at Guy Carpenter.

 

Sherwin’s appointment follows the recent hire of senior broker and producer Damian Richards, who also joins Miller from Guy Carpenter. Both recruits will work to develop tailored facultative reinsurance solutions.
