MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has appointed Nicola Fordham as director of underwriting.
Fordham was chief pricing underwriter at
MetLife UK. She was responsible for the technical relationship between
MetLife UK and MAXIS GBN – the international employee benefits joint venture between
MetLife and
AXA.
Leading a team of 25 underwriters, Fordham was in charge of training and development, as well as managing risk controls. The pricing underwriting subject matter expert has also delivered training experiences for employee benefits associates and consultants throughout the UK.
Fordham previously worked at Unum,
Generali, and
Zurich – specialising in life and disability underwriting. She developed pricing tools, built company underwriting manuals, and managed extensive client portfolios.
