Arch Insurance Company Europe has named Matthew Shulman as its new president and chief executive officer. Shulman will step into the role effective 1 July, according to an Arch release. Shulman succeeds James Weatherstone, who has guided
Arch Insurance Europe for 12 years.
Shulman has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. Over the years, he’s served in various senior underwriting and executive positions, focusing on global financial and professional liability lines – both key product offerings of Arch Insurance Europe. Shulman joined Arch Insurance US in 2009, and currently serves as the executive vice president in charge of the executive assurance and professional liability underwriting units.
