Rose will report directly to Servca managing director Nomaan Jamal, who described the new recruit as a “well-regarded and experienced player” in the financial lines market.

“He will be key in developing our international business and showing our allies in North America and Canada, as well as the UK and Ireland, that London is ‘open as usual’, despite the Brexit turmoil for specialist risks,” Jamal said.

“With our key emphasis being on non-standard, global risks, we look to expand and increase our business in 2017 and beyond, within niche financial and professional lines,” Jamal added. “Paul will be critical in making this happen.”

Before joining Servca, Rose worked at Howden as part of the sales and marketing team from 2013 to 2015. He is also a former assistant director at CJ Colemans.
