James Hallam has launched a new sports division comprised of new recruits from rival firm
Integro.
The broker announced that it has hired James Martin, Jon Salmon and Anne Barden to form the new business unit.
“We are excited about joining a forward thinking specialist business to focus on developing a diverse portfolio of motorsport and sports business within the group, through our existing International client base and in support of the group’s growing UK network,” Martin said of his appointment.
Martin’s team has a combined 25 years of experience placing complex motorsport and sports insurance risk.
The new hires have transacted contingency, liability and personal accident business on behalf of many of the most prominent professional sporting personalities, teams and international sports and motorsports events.
“I am delighted to welcome James and the team to James Hallam,” said Paul Anscombe, CEO of Seventeen Group, the parent company of the brokerage firm.
“We are continuing to build our specialist lines and our capability to achieve this has been greatly enhanced following our recent approval to Lloyds Broker status.”
