A leading financial investigations company that specialises in the insurance, legal and corporate markets globally has opened a new office in Miami to expand its reach into Latin America.
The new Miami office of RGL Forensics will be led by the firm’s partner, Carlos Rivera, who specialises in disputes for clients in the insurance and legal markets.
Rivera is also an expert in the review, analysis and measurement of US and international business interruption and property losses.
RGL CEO Angela MacPhee noted the importance of having a presence in major insurance hubs such as Miami.
“Miami has emerged as a key gateway to the Latin American insurance market that we have served for many years, most recently through our office in Santiago, Chile,” MacPhee said.
RGL Forensics expects its expansion into Latin America to benefit UK-based insurance clients and corporates since many policies for re/insurance in the region are being written in London.
“The RGL London partners are pleased to be expanding their reach into Latin America through Miami,” the UK office said.
“Operating as one firm globally, their clients in the UK and elsewhere will be able to benefit from the strength of the team’s experience in this key economic region.”
